Vacation Time Leave Time sticky icon

Hello All,

Recently and in the past the vacation time and leave time has been a hot and cold issue.
at last weeks State Wide Labor Management meeting your E-Board members approached the Department with the need to standardize a process of granting time off request.

Director of Residential services Nancy Cater has all ready contacted me and our first meeting is December 15th

Please see attachment  the ideas so far that I have been able to gather, any suggestions please forward.

JJEMS Unfair labor Practice sticky icon

 

JJEMS meeting with Department union will withdraw the Unfair Labor Practice (U.F.P.), after one year of meetings we have negotiated the implementation. With a on going group of union brothers and sisters to be appointed to work on future issues starting next January.

 

GIC Reimbursement/Overpayment Memo sticky icon

Dear AFSCME Unit 2 Local leader:
     As I suggested in my e-mail last week, the Commonwealth has notified all those who received an overpayment in error that the overpayment has taken place, and a reimbursement will take place via the paycheck to be issued April 15, 2011.  A copy of the letter most, if not all of them, have already received is attached.  All employees who were underpaid were made whole in the April 1st paycheck.
 A report I have just reviewed indicates there are 1983 Unit 2 folks from whom a deduction
